Our Commitment to Web Accessibility
At Missouri River Relief, we are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all individuals, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet the standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA to provide a positive experience for all visitors.
We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process, and we are continuously working to identify and remove barriers to ensure that every visitor can easily find information, complete actions, and engage with our website’s content.
Testing
We’ve used the following tools to test and audit our website:
Conformance Status
Our last accessibility audit took place on December 15, 2025. At that time, the website partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Known Limitations
- We are conducting an ongoing audit to ensure all images have appropriate alternative text. Any missing alt text will be added as identified.
- Some resources and Dispatches have been pulled from an old forum (pre-2020) that is no longer in use, and the formatting may not meet WCAG standards.
Third-Party Content
Our website includes content from third-party providers that may not be fully under our control. The following may present accessibility challenges:
- Embedded videos from YouTube
- Google Maps
- PDFs used as additional resources
- Embedded roster from RaceOwl
If you encounter barriers with third-party content, please contact us and we will provide an accessible alternative.
