Steve Schnarr - Missouri River Relief
Race Director
Steve Schnarr has been working at Missouri River Relief since 2005 and has been part of the MR340 team since 2008. Paddling was his first introduction to the Missouri River and he's been in love with sharing the river ever since. His deep knowledge of the race and the Missouri River make him a good resource for all of you taking on the race. Scott Mansker - RiverMiles
Race Founder & Safety Boat Coordinator
A post-college Missouri River adventure on a homemade raft unleashed Scott Mansker’s love for the Big Muddy. In 2006, he launched the first MR340 and has since grown the race from 16 racers the first year to the world-class challenge it is today. His unparalleled knowledge of every bend on the Missouri River and mastery at simplifying the most tangled logistics make him the ideal Safety Boat Coordinator. His previous career as an alternative high school teacher was the perfect prep for dealing with current Missouri American Water MR340 racers and volunteers.
Jon Marble - RaceOwl
Race Tracking
Jon is the brains behind the current RaceOwl tracking software. He spends countless hours in the off-season and during the race fine-tuning and troubleshooting this crucial tool for keeping track of our racers.

Petie Holder - Missouri River Relief
Development Director
With a background that spans fundraising and community engagement, Petie brings more than ten years of experience in the development space. Petie is passionate about working to better the community and is energized by the mission of Missouri River Relief. Known for her unique ability to foster genuine and authentic connections, Petie works tirelessly to build strong, lasting connections to sustain and grow MRR's impact.

Kevin Tosie - Missouri River Relief
Safety Dispatch - MRR Interim Executive Director
Kevin first became interested in the Missouri River in 2015 after helping organize a cleanup with Missouri River Relief and two student organizations, Sustain Mizzou and the Student Environment Coalition of UMKC. Since then he's organized river cleanups, coordinated MR340 safety boats and served as Operations Director at Missouri River Relief. He is a crucial behind-the-scenes component of the MR340 team organizing safety resources, racer data, logistics, permits, insurance, safety dispatch and a whole lot more.
