21St Annual Missouri American Water MR340

The primary dates for the Missouri American Water MR340 are July 28-31, 2026.
(Mandatory Race Check-in on July 27, 2026 at Kaw Point Park)

Secondary date (in case of postponement) is August 25 – August 28, 2026 (race check-in August 24, 2026)

Once you register, you will be added to the roster page. This is updated manually so there will be a delay between your registration submission and your name then appearing on the Roster page, especially on the first couple days registration is open. But please do check out the Roster page a day or two after your submission to make sure you see yourself listed. Email any questions to racing@riverrelief.org.

2026 Registration Changes

There are a couple of changes in Registration this year to understand before you start. For solos it is basically the same.

• All boats can select their four-digit boat number this year. This happens at the beginning of registration. There's a slight possibility that someone else could select your number and finish registering before you finish. If the system allows duplicate boat numbers, race staff will reach out to the second boat to start their registration to come up with another boat number.

• Although each racer registers and pays for themselves, the system is organizing you by boat teams. For boats with multiple paddlers, we recommend that you select one person on your boat to register first. The first person to register will be the Boat Captain (this is internal to registration and doesn't mean anything in the race itself). That person will be entering the boat number, boat name, boat color, Ground Crew contact information. (Click here to see the full list of what is needed to register)
  
  Once that first person is successfully registered, they should contact other people on their team to go ahead and register using the same boat number. Other boat members can click the "Join An Existing Boat" button on page one of registration, enter the correct boat number and their remaining personal information and pay for their registration.

• Each racer registers and pays individually. There is an option to register more than one person in your boat, but we ask that only teams within the same household use this option to make sure we get the best contact information for everyone possible. It also avoids one person being charged for the remaining balance on other boatmates' fundraisers on April 1.

Total Cost to Participate - $275 through March 31. From April 1 through May 31, increases to $300. On June 1 that cost increases to $340.

• From Jan. 1 to March 31 - To register, you will pay at least a mandatory $75 registration fee. A Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Page will be generated for you which you can use to raise donations from your community for Missouri River Relief to fulfill the remaining $200 of your total registration cost. On April 1, your card will be charged for the remaining balance of what was not raised through your fundraiser. Total cost to register before April 1 is $275.
• From April 1 through May 31 - Total Registration cost increases to $300 which must be paid in full to register.
• From June 1 through July 24 - Cost to register increases to $340, which must be paid in full to register.

Boat Captains (first person to register on a team or a solo paddler)

• Number of Individuals on the boat
• Boat Number (four-digit number) - if the number you choose has already been claimed, a pop-up will appear saying "The specified team name has already been claimed". You will need to choose another number
• Division
• Boat Name
• Boat Color
• Boat Make/Model/Description (simply enter "Unknown" if you don't know yet)
• Ground Crew name, email and phone number
• OPTIONAL - The Boat Captain is given opportunity to purchase an optional photo package from RainbowMarks Photography at a special Registration SALE price. ($100 in 2026)
